You know why Britney can't do tell all interviews anymore? I just watched the Diane Sawyer one (2003) and the Matt Laur one (2006) and they both paint her in a negative light. Matt Laur didn't try as hard as Diane Sawyer (who was just a complete bitch) but there was some moments that it made Britney look really bad even though she was just setting the record straight.

It's almost like the new generations of music buying kids don't even know who she is, because she went away for so long, and then when she did step back in the spotlight, it was for all the wrong reasons, and she was put in the same category as the likes of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan

Children need to be EDUCATED on Britney, before the 'meltdown' and the incredible things she's produced and achieved since. They should seriously consider inputting 'Britney Studies' to the UK Education system. Kids will grow up to have great taste in music, and maybe a few will pick up Britney CD's instead of knives and meth.

I'm proud to be one of the few first-class Britney fans in the UK.

Britney is very submissive. She can tell them off if she wanted to, but she knows that is not how she should conduct herself. It's more like a roast than an interview I think the reason why she seems less bubbly/darker is because she has a lot of repressed emotions inside. At one point she probably couldn't separate real life from the life she portrays to the public. Anyway, her management won't be sending her to these types of interviews or just flat out avoiding them.

Larry Rudolph has said himself Britney lives a battle between her private side and her public side. Maybe she just decided she needs to find a balance, and it's not our job to tell her what's best for her.
