Avril didn't go back Top 5 when her video released, it got lucky and peaked there [shortly] after Glee/Superbowl. It is now back out of the Top 10.

Like I said...the video effect is not immediate. It won't happen with the snap of a finger.

and I get that the effect is not immediate. It DID climb more than 10 spots after the MV, I guess we'll just have to wait. Someone said that if she entered the Top 10 (even at #10) it would get exposure and it would most likely go Top 5 when it hits the Top 10.

P!nk fits the same explanation.. when her video premiered (Jan. 19th), she was only #11 by the afternoon of the 21st. And it was still not even #1 a few days after that. [only like #8].

We are ourselves only 12 hours after 1 full day since the premiere. Again, it's not immediate. Patience. It will rise. And yes, Top 10 is always good exposure because people will see it on the home page.
