Yeah, it was having a hard time climbing, but it was normal since we had no news about the music video or something related to the single, and Firework was still doing very good on the charts.

E.T would only reach Top 20 without Kanye. For one, Gaga and Britney is going to dominate pop radio for the next months and without kanye it would get the regular 4th single treatment. This is being treated like a 1st single from a re release which is good. It should easily be a top 5 smash.

Katy's record label are so smart. they knew people werent gonna buy E.T when its the 4th single off an album they already have so she put Kanye on it to get the boost in sales and radio airplay. She's playing dirty but I admire it.
How exactly were people supposed to know about a 4th single that is still 2 weeks away from it's release date. It obviously wasn't selling cuz no one heard it.
