I'm not sure about Kanye's chances this year. What happens if Dr. Dre's comeback is well-received? Kanye should be able to get at least rap nominations with this album.

You know Beyonce is going to be sweeping and HELL NO that cheesy ass Firework will NOT receive anything.

They've already rewarded Gaga and Beyonce, the Grammys like to spoil one year then spread the wealth later (see: Norah Jones, Alicia Keys). Britney is that one artist that will get their Grammy moment and (especially if the album is amazing) now is the time to reward her. Her team won't obviously try and get her into the vocal fields (but don't be surprised, they're dumb) so she'll get the awards for Best Dance/Electronic Album, Best Dance Recording, and Best Short-Form Music Video. Album of the Year and Record of the Year nominations are a HIGH possibility, so don't count her out yet.

Seriously though, the Grammys are a commercial mess right now. "Toxic" would have smashed that Record of the Year Grammy if it were released in the past year or so. The production is ace and untouchable. Now they are more open because they need the ratings.

Nah, for Best Rap Album I don't think Recovery nor BP3 would have been a competition, The Grammy's know what's up (2005 and 2006) lol. And ya he definitely will, I just want him to add to his 14 and keep growing, that's more than impressive enough off only 4 albums (mainly three). And even though it may not be possible I still think Ye is going to be a sleeper for AOTY, I don't think there's a 0% chance, like I said he does have his story with them (since 2006 publicly) and Ye at this point reminds me of Outkast this era and we know how that went.

But I really do hope Radiohead wins, they ****ing deserve it lol.

Sadly no. He's not really a threat in the "big" categories, however the Rap categories are probably his. His will be the best selling and the most creative so if it doesn't go to him, then I guess we will never know what they're looking for...

His nomination is his reward. The Grammys don't like to reward rap in the general fields. And It's not going to happen in a LONG time.
