This is very complex and I will sum it in a sentence:
'only gay people, know what gay people go through'
and she may find ehrself cool and so great to be that gay-friendly.
But for me 'born this way' is a jump-on-a-wagon. SO CLEAR AND SO FAKE that I dont even wanna think about it.

well.. it's not very difficult to question her authenticity at all, ever since she was starting with the name 'lady gaga'. well, you know.
however i think she might've felt at least a bit obliged that someone has to sing this message at certain point of time, considering we are living in an age that so many homophobic rappers using the word '***' in their raps and that's actually a mainstream voice, i guess it's nice to hear a voice of 'gay' in someone's lyrics.
i understand what you are saying, and no one really could stand in others' shoes. but i guess we could not wait any longer for adam lambert to come up with anything even tangentially gaily proud.
besides, the song isn't really particularly about the gays. it's kinda covering race, status, as identity pride in general. overall it's not a bad song at all, not really a song that only 'insecure deaf ****s' would like. it's a bit over-the-top though, i agree with you.
