This was NOT what I was expecting but I LOVED it. Her vocals were flawless while she went through some incredible choreo.

I love how the egg was trying too hard, but then following it up with a low(er)-key performance like this makes her boring.

I GUARANTEE you she anticipated these reactions. She loves to CONSTANTLY mess with peoples' perceptions of her. "OMG egg? I HATE HER LOL SHE TRIES TOO HARD. ...what was that? I wanted more crazy Gaga!"

I think that the simplicity of the performance would make people focus on the song more.
