This song is getting MIXED reviews, though. "HIAM" was praised across the board right on it's impact.
It's getting airplay because it was obliged to do so by many radio stations, "HIAM" did not get that upper-hand support. So IMO nothing is really shady, it's all right there.

And let's not suggest conspiracy theories for Gaga's success the way the Monsters do for Britney. Gaga is riding high because, like Britney, she has dedicated fans and unlike Britney she has done a lot to hype her single prior to it's release.
It's just that this is my FIRST Britney era where I'm celebrating with other stans.
I just have a wave of emotions that I've never felt before now since I'm actually looking into statistics and chart movements, etc.....before I was just seeing or reading "Britney's new CD went #1" and think that all was good ...I was never actually witnessing the rollercoaster of things (promotion, charting, the competition) that happens pre and post a new era.
