EXACTLY..... according to that flawed and sad perspective, artist in the past should have kept their lips sealed regarding civil rights issues such as racial discrimination, the illegailty of interacial marriage, women not haveing the rights to vote, etc, all because the issues were illegal.
Not to mention that the issue ff illegal immigration is anything but black and white. The most debated aspect actually has to do with what the status and resulting treatment should be for those already living here, often for many years, who are contributing to American society, but with illegal status.
