Let's not push it here. Do you not remember the numerous rumors about her having to cancel the entire tour? Sure, it wasn't true, but she wasn't getting "sold out" news like Katy is now. If Rih performs multiple times at MSG for the Loud tour I'd be happy.

Oh my...I remember that. That performance is on my Ipod but I never listen to it. I remember being so excited thinking she was gonna sing Te Amo (one of my faves) and then she did that mess. RS101 is a great song, but not for live. And then that brief "guitar solo"... ...that was just embarrassing...
My mother was almost on board with Rih and then that awful VMA performance happened. My mom was OBSESSED with LTWYL...she was excited for that performance too...and I was happy Rih wasn't gonna be there to perform it (since we didn't know she was gonna be there at the time) since I figured if she murdered it I'd never hear the end of it... and then that happened...oh man.

She did well but come on, if you say, Rihanna is so popular she'll bring in so many people to her tours, then you need to admit that LGOE wasn't so bigg commerically
|
Lol. He was just saying Rihanna sold out Venues when she wasnt commercially successful lol. The album wasnt even at 1million sold when the tour kicked off.
So she's going to do very well this time around lol.

How did I shade RiRi? I DIDNT, so STOP!
Firework is a empowering song, it has a great message and meaning behind it. It had promo, and i'm happy for what it has done and what it will do!
I'm sure RiRi will promote when she feels like its needed best, Rihanna has yet to release a song like Firework, one that has True meaning, one that's inspirational, she will, I know she will.

I'm not shading, stop being so delusional, every RiRi fan knows she sounded a mess and the song isnt a song that should be sung live, its the truth. It wasn't a good song, and Rockstar 101 isnt that great of a song, I mean the charts and radio speak for themselves, and no i'm not shading, I'm only saying what was obvious.

You also have to evaluate all factors though. Katy's tickets are relatively inexpensive with several opening acts. So I want Rihanna to sell out dates as well as have relatively higher prices to get a high grossing tour.
The Europe tour alone is going to be HIGH GROSSING!
6 UK 02 dates equates to around $13-15 MILLION. But i see her adding more 02 dates.

No need to sugar coat it. Let's face it..Firework is corny as hell and the US is eating that up. This is exactly why if Fly does well I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.

I'm sure you're of age to actually know what Cheers mean, but Firework appeals to a wider mass, little babies love the song, I should know, my little cousin loves the song!!!

you speak the truth sis, the song is corny, Xtina did it better 10 years ago with a beautiful voice. Also she's been pushing this single for 4 months and more now, while Rihanna had 3 singles. If Rihanna had focused on OG or WMN? alone and delayed S&M, she would have had a higher selling single

Firework doesn't make me feel good...well maybe...I do laugh everytime I hear "do you ever feel like a plastic bag?"...so dumb.
But hey, I'm not hating. The song was and still is huge...Rih needs a corny song to attract the little brats.

Her tour in EUROPE is going to be KILLER!
They love her, she's is one of the most popular acts over there, easily!
It reflects in album sales, the demand for the tour, single sales, award shows, everything!!!
