It won't the way she's handling things right now.
Rude Boy took an entire month to go #1 after it was released, but it's because she promoted. She did the Kid's Choice Awards, Ellen, Good Morning America. and AOL Sessions all performing Rude Boy.
The Grammy's ain't gon' help none because Britney and GaGa will also be performing there, as well. So, yes, they'll all rise in sales, but HIAM has 4 times the airplay that S&M does right now. BTW will get a **** ton of first week sales, as well. I don't know how well performing at a Basketball game half-time show is going to help her, either
Her only chance is to actually promote S&M. She's hardly done anything this entire era for promotion. She needs to take next week and go hard before she leaves for her tour, cause once Feb 20th hits, she won't be able to promote for almost a month. She can do both the day time and late night talk shows. Her on Chelsea Lately would be hilarious and probably help her for more people to see her funny side.
