Also for now, Gaga is pop dance but not recycled considering she is actually the one that made the trend so popular in the US, as long as the songs on BTW don't sound like Pokerface or BR clones.
But really last year was so bad musically
OG is a mix between Sexy bitch, every other Guetta's songs
CG an attempt at reproducing Tik Tok
We R who we R, blah Blah Blah, and all her other songs are just clones of her 1st success
And even if it's not my fave type of music (Actually I don't like that genre at all), I find nothing generic about BR.

But she didn't make a career out of Hold It Against Me. All of Lady Gaga's singles sound the same, so do Ke$ha's, I'll give Katy an edge here because hers don't.

To me it feels like Britney Spears has been doing the same thing for 12 years. HIAM is so the kind of song she did when she was 17. I've seen more variety in the one year between JD and BR than I have from Britney in over a decade. Then again I've never been a fan so I haven't paid that much attention to her, but I am familiar with her main songs.

What about Rihanna? Pon De Replay, If Its Lovin That You Want, Break It Off were not all generic pop songs.
Even Umbrella or Dont Stop The Music or Disturbia.

No hun, Hold It Against Me doesn't sound like ...Baby One More Time, Sometimes or You Drive Me Crazy, it doesn't sound like I'm A Slave 4 U, Gimme More or Womanizer. It's only similar to Circus or Shattered Glass. But no, you are wrong
About Rihanna, yeah, she was kind of Raggae back then, but she also was a flop back then, she went discogay-eurotrash dance and boom had a career, so when she attempted to change again with Russian Roulette she struggled so she was back to generic dance, she is the epitome of having a career thanks to generic dance, pseudo electronica.. all of this in my humble opinion, of course.

Do you honestly think that her first 2 albums (Baby One More Time & Oops I Did It Again) sound the same as songs like I'm A Slave 4 U, Toxic, Gimme More or Womanizer?

This is turning into a SYG type argument. 99% of stans will continue being "slayed" by the mediocrity that their faves sleepwalked through anyway, so it's pointless.

No hun. Umbrella, Unfaithful, Break It Off, Hate That I Love You & Take A Bow are not discogay-eurotrash dance.
And AGLM was more successful than Rated R, and AGLM only had SOS that was a dance track.
WMN? is not generic dance.

Leona and Dido who ? exactly ,no one is here for them anymore .
"Raise Your Glass" , "So What" = right off over Luke (or Maxs) conveyor belt . Kelly and Beyonce released the same song , Kelly also remixed a Miley song , as Beyonce remixed a Lil Wayne song
EVERYBODY releases generic songs at one point .
