I understand where you're coming from and I'm not one of those dumbass 16-year olds who praise the 90s even though they weren't even old enough to remember most of it or one of those pompous old guys who want to act like music today is so awful because it's too sexual or whatever, but

2009 & 2010 have been just so awful in music IMO. It just amazes me to see how many people eat up such tasteless, generic garbage. I mean people are free to like whatever, but it's sad to see people label these songs as epic masterpieces and watch them get nominated for Grammy's and sh*t. Tik Tok and California Gurls are basically carbon copies of each other yet they both went to #1. WTF? I just music to go back to a period to where at least the artists can sing. I mean, I can't even name one Pop artist other than Bruno Mars out there that actually can sing. Everything sounds like a bunch of robots on radio these days. I hope that trend is going to die out.
