HIAM is still soaring on the airplay charts..at least in America, it will keep her afloat.
And did I miss the memo where videos have never helped a single rise,..it did with Womanizer, and 3. And when she promotes it, it will rise again. How about we wait until she plays all her cards, before we decide to fold.
It's not like a single thing has been done, yet it was still in the Top 10 going into it's 4th week.
I'm bet "antidote" doesn't sound squat like ke$ha. She's probably just rapping a little bit, which she's done years before ke$ha even existed. Her rap in "everybody" is orgasmic.
You know what I hate, when reviewers throw in other artists song into a review...cause once the song is released or listened to haters and fans that don't like it, will immediately run to that song for a comparison.
Yet if the song was NEVER mentioned in the first place, no one would say a thing about the two.
Brit's promotion sucks so badly right now.
Can we have somebody else get her performing HIAM on a few shows until the video comes out?
Even if it's not big shows, she's showing people what she's offering this time around.
I DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO FLOP. I will stan strong!
if this does not recover they deserve it for thinking the song will be a hit just cuz britney sings the song. Is their fukin fault and sadly, if she is going to keep being like this i would rather her stop makin music because is just so unfair to her fans/stans we have been very loyal ever since she started we got her back whenever she was in her dark days and NO gorls, this is NOT how it shud be at all.
I can't believe you chose "Lonely" over "Toy Soldier" to give an example.
Does this mean there's an official remix out?
I used "Lonely" as an example because it's the earliest example of Britney talk/rap, leading all the back to 2001. I was never a fan and will never be a fan of "Toy Soldier," in my opinion it's the most overrated fan favorite track on the album. Plus, Lonely is my jam and I would spin Lonely 10x as much as Toy Soldier.

What she did on "The Hookup" wasn't technically rap. It's a more "reggae" infused song with fluctuation on the accent and pronunciations that are so unique to the Carribean music culture. BUT, I am SOOOO here for "The Hookup."
