Right. Did the tweet even say Britney performing at the Grammys? No. I doubt he even opened the damn link. As always the stans set themselves up. Those complaining just look like idiots. They don't have time to deal with these things. The People article confirmed she wasn't performing, and People has always been reliable. It was said another time. Both times ignored because of a tweet that Adam more than likely did not open the link, but re-tweeted what the actual message said.
Ridiculous.

I mean you didn't even build Britney's career and you act like some superstar manager.

Last month, I said something along the lines of "Brit doesn't care about her fans," and y'all were ready to eat my face saying that she does care, etc. If that's the case, though, she should show it more often like other pop stars do. For what we do for her, Jive and the bunch should be feeding us stuff on silver platters, but they don't.
And where's this better-than-Circus-era promo that was once talked about? 'Cause I ain't seein' nuttin'.

Muumuse's rant isn't surprising. Idiotic. Another blog that got one or two, not really exclusive things right and take advantage and release more "exclusives" later. It is a cycle.

We don't ask for much, but a treat would be nice here and there. The album is a month and a half away and there is no music video, no album title, no confirmed tracks outside of "III Wanna Go and HIAM", no interviews, no performances, etc. What is the hold up? The secrecy isn't building up positive suspense, it's making people angry. We're seeing poor leadership on the part of management and the PR team.
This mess NEVER happened to us from 1998-2005. The fans were led by Larry and company with extensive communication. Where is management? Where is the publicist to confirm or deny rumors? Britney's publicist in the early days was ALWAYS on her ish. She released public statements at the drop of a dime to dispel rumors when the would start to spread. I want to see improvement made with decisions and leadership amongst the management and publicity staff, because what we are being served right now is PITIFUL. Make no mistake about it, everyone's frustration and animosity solely lies in the poor leadership of the managers. GET IT TOGETHER!!!!

Was this already posted?
A 4-track sample from Spears' new album is already being sent to some big names. The promotion has pretty much changed - Jive has chosen to sent it to blogs and web icons instead of the big vehicles which had never failed to underestimate Britney during the "Circus" era.
"Hold It Against Me" starts the ride with the dubstep inspired break and pumping beats that the fans are already used to. But it's only a little part of the surprise, "Antidote", the second track from the sampler, brings new cards to the table when it comes to the pop tart. Taking classes from Ke$ha, Britney showcases her rap/sing abilities alternating distorted vocals - think Daft Punk - in a disco-infused song. Best track from the sampler.
"Switch You On" is the typical sexy midtempo. Britney oozes sexuality whispering throughout the verses and ending the chorus with the lyrics: "If I turn the lights off / I wonder if it would switch you o-o-on" suceeded by an unplugged electric guitar.
"I I I Wanna Go O O" is, perhaps, the weakest track on the sampler. The typical Dr. Luke bass and Martin's doll-esque vocals makes the song sound like a Sugababes' "About You Now" revival. Not quite there.

I am not that upset about Britney not performing at the Grammys (I was always just content of her just attending), but I think it just hit me and most fans that WE STILL GOT NOTHING. We look like idiots. We look like we just take whatever is thrown at us and eat it up. I don't want leftovers. I don't want breadcrumbs.
Like Alicia Keys would sing, we're like diamonds but they treat us like glass!

Very true. I'm starting to think that us fans are more legendary than her! we make her songs hits and she gives us nothing!!

Need to clear something up. This Grammy rumor is just that, a rumor. @BritneySpears was NEVER performing.
|
I tweeted this after Adam said this, but I'm going to say it here, too. I could be totally wrong, but him saying "Britney was NEVER performing" is in the past tense. Is it possible that she was never scheduled to perform, but is now?

Ok I'm done with my bashing. All I'm trying is to say is that there needs to be a more direct and better communication done between the fans. That is all. Use twitter all you want--- just actually use it and deny rumors up front to the fans.
Nothing against Britney though, just her management

True bb. I don't know if I can support Brit anymore this era if she half-asses this time around... she's had enough time to get herself together. Yes, you were born a star but you can't shine without your fans.
If Britney doesn't want to perform anymore, then just let the fans move on and quit.

Glory days.
I honestly think she's still nervous and doesn't want to do interviews or too many performances because of her 2007 breakdown. I really want interviews! For the Record was so epic. She needs to really get back into it and do some promo!

E-****IN'-XACTLY.
I'm not mad about the non-Grammy performance, cause I never let myself fall for that.
But I'm MAD AS HELL at the way things are being handled by her Management.

Will Britney Spears Be Performing at Grammy Awards?
Tuesday January 11, 2011 04:45 PM EST
Don't hold it against her – but Britney Spears isn't performing at this year's Grammy Awards, her label tells PEOPLE.
Contrary to reports online Tuesday, the pop star, 29, who just released her new single, "Hold It Against Me," which already rose to No. 1 on iTunes charts, has no plans to sing live on the Feb. 13 telecast.
Adds a source: "I really doubt it."
A full list of Grammy presenters and performers is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The awards show will air live from L.A.'s Staples Center on CBS.

What do you mean have I been around? Honestly not in here, because it's nothing but whiny bitches in here, excuse my language. But I've read what we've gotten and have enough common sense to detect what's real or not. Like I said Adam 99% did not open that article to see it randomly say she was performing at the end. You all take it as "mind games" because you believe all the rumors. What he said was true, they don't have time to deny rumors that they've said before. Larry denied the Superbowl, which was too good to be true. The Grammys were denied the day of the single's premiere.
Just because a handful of you set yourselves up shouldn't equal me not "being around" when I come and try to talk some sense in between all this mess.
Soon you'll all be back on the praise when all the promo & news comes at the appropriate time.
