Bad Romance does have a plot. A very self-explanatory plot, it's very easy to follow.
No one knew what was going on, every review I read said "it doesn't make a lick of sense and we have no clue what's going on, but it's stunning nonetheless." We're fans so we knew it was set in a bathhouse where she's sold to a group of men.

I always found people to think Bad Romance was very straight forward. Alejandro on the other hand, you can argue, has no plot or purpose. A bunch of scenes put together that don't flow naturally like Bad Romance.
