Music is art. Art is a way of expression, and if Lady GaGa feels that this is the way she needs to express herself, then she should do so. You may or may not like the lyrics, but if she was to make songs that were created just to appeal to the larger audience, that wouldn't be way of "expression" because you're only expressing the lies about a world that never was and never will be because people are afraid from accepting the different.
The song itself, even though I may not agree on it's message, will probably make somebody out there in the world, who is probably depressed and thinking about ending his / her life over issues addressed in the song, will hear the song and smile. To make a somebody smile, and who knows how much this smile have done, probably saved lives. In a world that focuses on bad, dark things and is addicted to the drama, while thousand of peoples are falling to the jaws of money-thirsty people thriving for more and more ways to get money no matter what are the effects, to make a person smile, in my opinion, worth way more than breaking records and selling millions of copies.
doing that, then kudos to GaGa.

Whether people see her as that verses what she believe she is completely different. Does everyone think she's attractive? No, but Gaga has stated that she feels sexy. She may not be this great figure of inspiration, but Born This Way is clearly directed towards her fans. Gaga claimes that fans have written to her saying thanks to her they came out or whatever it is. So of course Gaga is going to feel inspirational. She stopped being here for the general public along time ago. Just look at Alejandro I don't think it is early for her to do this, especially on her lead single.
All this Gaga doubt is fanbase. There is no need to hype this either. Save it untl we hear the actual song How do you know a song will flop based on two lines from it? Dumbest logic I've ever read.

Well this is an entirely different conversation, that I don't feel like dwelling in too much. Yes, clearly she's doing it for the fans and what she believes in. But I'm not talking about that.
I don't believe anyone said it would flop, at least I didn't. I just feel this can hurt her a lot.

She's giving away MORE lyrics?????
Quote:
Don't be a drag
Just be a queen
No matter gay, straight, or bi
Lesbian, transgendered life
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born to survive
Give yourself prudence, and love your friends, subway kid rejoice your truth.
In the religion of the insecure I must: be myself, respect my youth.
I'm beautiful in my way
'Cause God makes no mistakes
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born this way
Don't hide yourself in regret
Just love yourself and you're set
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born this way

Have I missed anything?

It reminds me of the Paparazzi video where she died and got replaced, and then 5 minutes later the media is like "We Love her Again"

its how she projects what she writes that matters to me (composed music and all), right now all i can say is its diverting from mainstream audiences in a cliche way
