No, physical AND digital single sales. 10 digital singles = one track equivalent album. CG + TD + FW + the other tracks sold roughly 20 million downloads so far which equals 2 million albums.
E.T.'s already proving me wrong about it's subsequent chart performance. That's good sign. If it fails, however, in the US, I am so going to throw eggs on her label's faces.

E.T. is not going to flop. I guarantee that, radio will eat up anything by Katy right now.
Yeah.
Grammys and other promo will help, plus TD (song) has proven to have great longevity, so I think it's going to be the same for Firework.

As previously stated, E.T needs an amazing video to smash hard.

I want both Firework & Teenage Dream hit 4mil
Firework is about 2mil6 right? Still a long way to go
TD sales could have been more if it weren't for the video. I expected an amazing video like TOU & WUIV
So the article reported OOTB sales is 5mil is correct
"Thinking of You" sold 900k which is pretty good. "The Only Exception" or "Better In Time" are ballads too and they only sold a million copies yet people still regard them as hits. People compare TOY too much to IKAG and HNC.
In retrospect, I do think IYCAM should have been the 3rd single though.
