THIS! I hated the Circus era because she just faded into the background and became boring. That era was a joke. She was out of shape for most of it, gave awful performances and didn't even bother singing live which I found to be insulting to the fans because she barely even danced. She just looked like a lazy, money hungry slob who wasn't willing to work for the money.
This new era has started and I decided to give Britney another chance to wow me. I became a fan of Britney after I saw the 'Everytime' video back in 2004. I've never been a fan of anyone for this long, so it will be such a shame if I stopped being a fan. But to be honest? I am beginning to 'cool off' on Britney. I haven't been impressed by her in a long time. No, not even with her during the 'Blackout' era.
I've been hoping since 2005 that she'll prove the haters wrong and deliver an incredible performance and video and music and wow everyone again. It's now 2011. She has failed to do that.
I am hoping she slays this era. I don't care about sales. Sales means nothing when she's not even 1/10th the popstar she once was 13 years ago.
She better bring it or I'm going to re-consider being a fan of hers.
