Well the album dropped off the UWC chart certified 3X platinum (ie 6M copies)...idk where they're getting 11M from.

Dear the point is i said to not count rihanna out yet. Gaga is going to do well, but how well , no1 knows. She only gonna have 1/2 year. Rihanna will have da full year. So who knows?

Gaga could do 4 milli as well as Rihanna. (3 nill+ throuhout year, 1 milli re-release)

youre right....norah sold 2.544 , less than 20k more than Rihanna after 8 week. So Rih is the 6th fastest.

And BEP site said 11million, take that up w/ their label not me. No one knows how much they sold if the album is off the world chart. Its still sellin.

Loud is not a contender for #1 selling album of 2011. It's at 2.5 now? It might do another 1.5-2 million this year.

As far as BEP goes, The Beginning is not even 2 months old, so comparing END's entire nearly 2 years is senseless. We can however note that Beginning has sold 1.4 million, while END sold about 1.2 million in the same time frame. "The Time" is a hit, and with more singles it will continue to sell.

I've always said it was a worry that she wouldn't hold up, which clearly we can see in the US the album is only a little bit ahead of where Rated R was, and worldwide she's coasting by with no major releases. I also only say might, because of the performance so far. We can predict Gaga to sell 5+ million with BTW this year. That means Loud will need to sell another 4 million, at least, to certify she'll sell more than that...and if you really think that's possible then hey, nice one.

And BEP can't be doing too bad, considering they are #2 worldwide only 36k less than Loud.

Yes, Britney. She's releasing at an earlier time, giving her the entire year to sell. Those last two albums sold those units within their first months, not entire runs. This era has so far eclipsed the last two leads, and will see a rise in sales as Circus rose from Blackout. I won't say it'll be the top selling, but it will sell very nicely. And more than Loud in 2011.
