Thanks Bea! :] I think what sets me apart from other Bey stans is the following:
1. I spent a year in China doing study abroad. That really opened my eyes to the world and the things that make us all different but also that bring us together.
2. I have been through tons of crap in my life, mostly childhood, that has humbled me and made me really appreciate life.
3. I'm the oldest of 12 siblings so I have somewhat of an obligation to set a good example and a predisposition to be kind and caring toward others.
4. I'm very intellectual.
5. I love to sing, so I appreciate anyone who speaks to me musically. I don't support Beyoncé because she's Beyoncé. I support her because she is an incredibly talented and accomplished vocalist with a great personality to match. She's someone I look up to. :]
Now, to conclude, am I better than other Bey stans? No. But have I made better decisions/treated people better than the extreme Bey stans? Yes. :] Ultimately, I don't get off on being a bitch. I'll be logical, direct, competitive, and outspoken, but I layer it with respect, and if it comes off wrong I suck it up and apologize, because that's just not who I am.
That's why I don't associate myself with "the Navy" now. Yes, I'm a huge Rihanna stan, but I'm not going to make myself look ridiculous by buying into a group that mostly does nothing but shade other artists and constantly fights with other members. Plus, I am not delusional when it comes to my stanning AT ALL. If Rihanna, Britney, etc. ****s up, I'll admit it.
