I agree. I got one of ATRL's most hated artists, so I really hope people don't vote it off for that reason alone.
It was really hard to find a picture that really captured just how fierce she is. The cameras always caught her at a bad angle, she had a weird facial expression, or it was just a bad picture in general. But I think the picture I ended up picking is one of her fiercest, in terms of red carpet pictures. I think the Avril photo you picked is great though!
It's just hard to find a picture that really captures all of her fierceness.
