That's because I told them what they were going to be voting in beforehand and they're following that as their source. I can't control them not looking at the thread's title now, especially since the title is now "Angelo Mail." And there are quite a bit of posts in this thread so to read all of them is a lot to ask. When the majority of what they see is "I vote for ExtraChapstick" they probably assume voting is still open.
The best thing to do is to keep cool about it and let everything die down without allowing it to frustrate us. But I'm feeling like crap now because everyone is getting frustrated due to MY efforts to campaign, which I haven't been doing since the voting was closed. I literally stopped campaigning 9.5 hours ago. The best thing for me to do is leave the thread for a few hours because I'm constantly feeling like I'm getting slapped in the face with each comment like the following:

Angelo chose to cancel to voting, and we all have to deal with that. But I can't sit here and watch the results of my campaigning frustrate you all so much. Even though the frustration is mostly toward the voters and their overlooking of the voting being cancelled, it still reflects on me. It hurts me to see you all frustrated by something I, though indirectly, unintentionally, and unknowingly, caused. It was my hard work down the drain, and I'm fine with letting that go if everyone else is too.
But it's time to go. I'll check in periodically until the update is given in about 6 hours.
