That's the official chart. It's not updated yet, when it updates next week, she'll be #1.
Look at the right side of the page, there's this
Ultratip #1
Britney Spears - Hold It Against Me
She's #1 Digitally and ready to smash the official chart next week.
Finland and the countries HIAM debuted in have different weekly timings for their charts, as in the single is released 2 or 3 days before the week ends.
I actually almost positive about "Hold It Against Me" becoming a #1 in the UK. It has some heavy dubstep elements and dubstep is huge there, she could gain quite a few fans.

Yes apprantley the #1 is on bubbling under chart on Belgium
So far in the official charts
Korea: 1
Ireland: 6
Finland: 11
Netherlands: 20
Portugal: 45
I doubt she's going to debut at #1 on the UWC because they count these numbers
The UWC chart of this week has already been published and she didn't debut...
She will next week as US number roll in, she will earn 400 points from US alone (I think that's how UWC works), so she defo has a chance for that debut...
That's in the Single Top 100, which only counts sales. Not the official Dutch Top 40.
When is the official 40 published?
According to uk mix the peaks of Britney since Blackout:
2007 "Gimme More" #35
2008 "Piece of Me" #41
2008 "Break the Ice" #61
2008 "Womanizer" #8
2009 "Circus" #41
2009 "If U Seek Amy" #63
2009 "3" #57
2011 "Hold It Against Me" #20*
They hate her . but I'm glad this is already her 2nd biggest peak, I hope it can go above Womanizer

She probably won't earn 400 points from the US alone. When Flo Rida's "Right Round" debuted, he had less than 400.000 points on the UWC despite selling over 600K in the US alone. She could get around more even with less sales, considering the much better airplay though, since they count both.
Her opening weeks since the digital era began:
Gimme More #7 208.000 Womanizer #5 240.000 3 #2 244.000
Top 40 is not 'the official chart'. Single top 100 is. If you don't have airplay, than you'll never have a hit in the top 40. Besides there's a panel with 500 people in it and they decide what is popular...

I work at the radio station that publishes the official Top 40 every friday. The official lists leaks on monday though, so we just have to wait a weekend to see where she's at. Probably at the bubbling under chart first.
Good sign: HIAM has been added to the Radio 538 hits, so looks like they won't be banning her this time!
This are the singles in the Top 40 btw:
// = didn't chart in the Top 40 (official list)
Gimme More - 32
Piece of Me - //
Break The Ice - //
Womanizer - 21
Circus - 24
If U Seek Amy - //
Radar - //
3 - //
Hold It Against Me - //

This week's #1 is Firework with 370k points. The week before it had 500k points, it's decreasing tremendously. Trust me, if Hold It Against Me is selling 400k+ in the U.S alone, that puts its WW sales at high range, 550-650k, she has #1 on lock.
Her only problem could be Black Eyed Peas but that will be after 2 weeks.

European markets are so confusing
Hahaha, could you give me the link? The Single Top 100 is only based on sales.
The Top 40 is based on sales (digital and physical), plays on tv and airplay by several big Dutch radio channels.
A few weeks ago a track reached #12 in the Top 40 just by sales and 2 or 3 spins on the radio.

I noticed that as well. For whatever reason, they reduce about 30-40k points. If, say, she sells 500k WW, they can reduce 100k, she'll still be #1.

No one still completely understands how they do those calculations.
I'm thinking she'll be around 750K worldwide, so she should get more than 500.000 points. Like I've said before, I've been waiting for a #1 debut there for ages.
