TBH, and this may seem surprising, I know a lot of hardcore Beyonce stans IRL that didn't like Telephone much. I expected that song to go number one without any trouble. Still pissed that it didn't.

I only started liking it recently, at least more than I used to. I still think it's one of the weaker tracks on The Fame Monster, but on an album full of pop gems even the weaker songs are bound to smash.

We R Who We R did well for example, but it didn't do as well as people expected. It was widely regarded as an updated version of Tik Tok, and although both songs peaked at #1 Tik Tok occupied the position longer and sold much more copies. Cannibal's sales were also underwhelming because of that, being generic is not a good thing.

11 weeks in the top ten so far. It'll get many more considering it's still in the top five. It'll go 3x-4x platinum. GIRL NEXT!
