"Mine" hit #1 at 10 PM EST.
But it was released at ~4PM EST.
Remember it leaked during the middle of the day and they sent it to iTunes immediatetly. That's why I don't think it's fair to compare since her song was released at the peak time of downloading (most likely).
Brit's song is climbing when everyone is sleeping. If this song hits #1 by noon, that would be AMAZING and I'd consider it a greater achievement than Taylor's.
??? All singles are released at midnight when the song is released. It takes time for a single to climb the charts when it comes to the Top 10, because the gaps between spots from 10-1000 spots aren't as big as the top 10. It'll do it just wait. Grenade has a HUGE lead (check my screencap).
