I know Dr Luke wouldn't give Brit the generic stuff. He saves the best for The Queen.
Right? Only the best, "Circus" is a main example of that.

She nor the people who do her stuff invented dubstep. Dance music is the thing right now. All styles are being cycled into top40. You really think britney said "Hey, Max and Luke, let's make this dubstep?"
Nobody matter how change it no one is doing DUBSTEP (dance and dubstep are different) right now on mainstream radio. Britney will be the one bringing it to the forefront then others like always will follow.

MANIFESTO
TRL launched in 1998. Britney launched her music career in 1998, on TRL. Britney was TRL.
ATRL launched in 1999. Britney dominated this place from day one. Britney was ATRL.
Britney is still here, better than ever, 12 years later. ATRL is still here, better than ever, 12 years later.
THEREFORE, Britney is ATRL. DEAL.

I love that Britney is the only artist that can make Dr. Luke put a little effort and experimentation into his productions.
He knew that he could only bring the best for the Queen and that's what he did. I was expecting nothing less than fire after he made "Circus" for her.

THEGMANGRANT'S Countdown to the Release Of Hold It Against Me Remembering the First Singles...
Oops I Did It Again
Background
"Oops!... I Did It Again" is a song by the American pop singer Britney Spears from her second studio album Oops!... I Did It Again. It was released as the first single from the album by Jive Records on March 27, 2000. Written and produced by Max Martin and Rami Yacoub, the track's musical style was strongly similar to many songs that appeared on her debut album ...Baby One More Time (1999), and its lyrics refer to love as a game. The song received predominately positive reviews from pop music critics and was nominated at the 43rd Grammy Awards in the category of "Best Female Pop Vocal Performance". "Oops!" is generally perceived as one of Spears' signature songs by the media and the general public. "Oops!... I Did It Again" enjoyed similar commercial success as her debut single "...Baby One More Time" (1998), reaching number one in many territories including Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and continental Europe. Its accompanying music video ranks among her most famous, and began to more openly express a more sexually-provocative Britney Spears, when Spears herself was only 18 years old while in the video. More controversy occurred with Spears' growing sexual appeal at the 2000 VMA's while promoting Oops, in what critics called a see through suit. Though it was not, the costume received an uproar from critics.
Charts
The single was released to radio stations in the US on March 27, 2000. The track was commercially available in several formats including the traditional CD single and maxi single. The former was released in the United Kingdom on May 2 along with a cassette single, the latter hit the European music stores eight days earlier. In both formats a B-side called "Deep In My Heart" was available, which had previously appeared on selected versions of her 1999 debut album "...Baby One More Time" as a bonus track. Also, the main and instrumental version of the song were accompanied by a remix of "From the Bottom of My Broken Heart" made by Davidson Ospina. In addition, another maxi single was released in Europe, where only a restricted number of copies were produced. It included remixes by Riprock 'N' Alex G., Davidson Ospina and Rodney Jerkins. On the week ending June 17, 2000, "Oops!… I Did It Again" reached number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 becoming Spears' third top ten hit; it also reached number eight on the Hot 100 Airplay list. It also became a success at Top 40 radio, going to the top on the Top 40 Mainstream, as well as hitting the top ten on the Rhythmic Top 40 and Top 40 Tracks charts. Internationally, "Oops!" peaked within the top five across the board in all European countries, including France and Germany, where it was certified gold for shipments of over 250,000 copies in both nations by the Syndicat national de l'édition phonographique and the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry respectively. The track topped the Eurochart Hot 100 Singles for six consecutive weeks, which was published by Billboard's sister magazine Music & Media at the time. "Oops!... I Did It Again" became Spears' third UK number-one hit, the single was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry for sales in excess of 423,000 units. In the Pacific, "Oops!... I Did It Again" debuted at number one in the Australian Singles Charts and got a platinum certification by the Australian Recording Industry Association for shipments of 70,000.At the time, a change of distribution for Zomba Label Group took place there, the single was deleted after only a few weeks of its original release and its chart life was cut dramatically short. In New Zealand, "Oops!" debuted at number thirty-nine on May 21, 2000, and ascended to the top spot two weeks later on June 4. It stayed there for a week. After selling over 15,000 units, the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand certified it platinum. It spent eighteen weeks on the chart. While at its peak, the single topped over 20 countries worldwide, becoming one of Spears' most successful singles
