- The Hold it Against Me demo has leaked. Supposedly sung by Bonnie McKee, the songwriter.
- At first glance, the demo was leaked by Riz. The song was posted on his Soundcloud earlier this morning. However, Riz now claims that his accounts were hacked into.

- According to Pop Justice, the song is correct lyrically AND IS the demo - however, the song is different in structure, vocally, and production wise on the final track. http://www.popjustice.com/index.php?...205&Itemid=206
- Adam, Britney, JIVE, or Dr. Luke have not yet commented. Meaning nothing has been confirmed or denied in regards to the radio release of the song (Social Media Campaign or Traditional release)...the leaked track, however, is pretty much all but confirmed.
Caution: RadioNOW is based in Indianapolis, IN, which is not a HUGE market like LA or New York. I doubt Jive would want them premiering their song before any of the larger markets so I would take caution with what they say. However, if the song is really being released tomorrow - then I guess everyone has dibs on it.
- Below is the demo that leaked earlier this morning:
- After the first demo leaked, another rough demo leaked. The vocals still feature songwriter Bonnie McKee, but the production is updated. Below is the 30 second preview of the updated demo.
Based on the production, it can be assumed Dr. Luke got his hands on the track. The drums near the end of the above demo are the same drums used in Katy Perry's 'California Gurls' right before the chorus.
Poor Britney just confirmed that the second demo is more of what we can expect from the final track:

Another alleged demo leak has hit the web and as I suspected, it does have Bonnie McKee listed as the singer – which is what the original demo sounded like (very ke$ha). This one seems to be more of the final version type of feel and sound and based on this 30 second clip, it will be a hit. This sounds much more complete than the first demo we heard — which by the way has now been deleted by Riz on his soundcloud page.
NOTE: In case the above video gets taken down. Check out LCTV's Twitter for a link. twitter.com/lctv (cannot post the direct link due to rules & regulations).
- Another Riz demo of the same name 'Hold it Against Me' was also posted on his Soundcloud. However I personally believe that one is of no connection to Britney since it does not match lyrically AND the song was already posted on Youtube four months ago (before the HIAM rumors started): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7Fw5EAaByA
I'm really not trying to start anything, but I don't know if this is strong enough to be a big hit. I mean, it will undoubtedly start off strong due to Britney's loyal fanbase, but it doesn't sound like it will have much longevity. Just my opinion, and maybe the final version is improved, but kudos to her if it does better than I expect it to.
No, I understand what you're saying. And I (and most of us on this thread) appreciate you not being rude about it, as some other people have. But I think we (her stans) view her music in a different way than the general public. I know I do, atleast. As the saying goes, "one man's trash is another man's treasure" - the same applies to music. A song/artist one person might think is terrible/trashy, another will adore. With artists like Britney, no matter what type of music she puts out, most of us will still love it simply because it's Britney. It's hard to explain, but I think you get what I'm saying.
Play nice! He was just giving his opinion without be crude, not everyone will love HIAM. It's not realistic to have every single person fall in love with one song. Although, you are right, it is just a demo and he'll have to wait to make his conclusions final.
If I said your body now... Would you hold it against me?
Cause you feel like paradise and I need a vacation tonight
If I said your body now... Would you hold it against me?
Oh. I get it now. So she wants the guy / girl hold his / her body against her.
No. She's saying would he hold it against her (basically blame her, what the saying means) if she wanted his body. (because its amazing or whatever )
The shade was still spotted. So forget about the singer though right?
How can I applaud Britney for a demo that she didn't write, produce or sing? I can't say anything about her vocal performance until I hear the final version. So sit.

Relax Muse I was joking. I wouldn't expect you to rave about Bonnie making this demo hot, it was just some light-hearted fun.
If she drops the single tonight or tomorrow she has lost almost all hope of going #1 with this. She just needs to wait until she can get a full week of sales and airplay.

I know that. I just haven't always had the best interactions with Cherry.

The single could drop to radio tonight but that doesnt mean it will go to iTunes as well.

People always say her recent first singles did not have longetivity, but they spent 10 weeks in the Top 10 each.
Then there's the fact that both songs went double platinum, one of them triple platinum. 3 has sold at least 8-9x more than it opened with (255K), Womanizer has sold very well over 10X what it opened with (286K).

HOW has she lost hope? If it drops tonight it'll be the most requested song ALL weekend. It wont make the Hot 100 off 3 days of airplay.
Jive is smart. This will jump start her AI and her iTunes release will sky rocket the song to #1.

Why not? She actually should release it now, when the hype is at its peak. Radios will eat it up without a doubt, and they would release it next week digitally + Launch the Facebook campaign, and after two or three weeks debut the music video, while also performing it on American Idol first episode (Since it's gonna have the highest ratings of the whole season), perform on another shows, and there you got - Plan for about two months.
