If that EW snippet was honestly true, then it would have been BS'ed by now.
Just how vague "after Britmas" was....is how vague "don't believe everything you read is"...for all we know Adam could be damn well talking about the dancers tweets.
This leads me to believe that, if they aren't going for a secret launch, then the single really is closer than they want us to believe. All of the MAJOR rumors could have been easily declined, like when the 'Hold it Against Me' title surfaced and was never trashed and now looks to be true.

The singer has turned to the XENOMANIA production team to work on her new album.
That should be right up her street - they are the songwriters who helped put GIRLS ALOUD on every cheesy DJ's setlist.
The British team have also worked with KYLIE MINOGUE, SUGABABES and CHER, but the latter shouldn't put Britney off.
