I would say Madonna is the greatest diva of all time. Beyonces music has never really stood out from the rest for me and she has never had an iconic moment.

I can agree but "single ladies" was pretty iconic for beyonce...I think she has the potential to be legendary she just hasnt tapped into her full potential yet...I hope she does soon!

And so will the general public. Years from now people will look back at how R&B evolved and Beyonce will be the main driving force of that evolution. No one can integrate R&B/Pop/Hip-Hop as SEAMLESSLY as she can and did with DC and her solo efforts (especially B'Day).
