It pales in comparison with BBP, but it's not a flop. It's really sucking on radio, but it's sales are enough to keep it stable in the Top 10 for several weeks, which is a huge thing.
Compare Boom Boom Pow with The Time. They should be #01 by now.
The Time has gotten mixed approval in almost every way. It shows in the sales & airplay (although the sales could be considered very good for the poor radio play it has gotten). It will be another double platinum for them, but I doubt much more than that.
They may never reach the heights of BBP or IGF again.

Wouldn't count it out. The song is Wish it had blown up sooner though, he could be leading his way into releasing a successful album next year. But, hopefully that can still happen.
Stop calling THE TIME flopping, its airplay just underperforms, but its digital sale is already platinum, on its way for 2x platinum, and also it peaks #4 Hot 100, not called Flopping at all
