This was a big goodbye album with tons of promotion, they weren't afraid of her losing her streak to anyone. The only people they would have had to avoid in the end were Arashi and Utada isn't the only one that can't rival their sales.

Ayumi basically HAS to release a week where there is no one relevent period because her streak is so damn important
