I'm not boxing into one artist. I barely listen to mainstream top 40 and besides Gaga, only Beyoncé and Britney have my respect. Rihanna to a certain extent but I don't like her music.
Just don't attempt at comparing Gaga's impact, especially worldwide, with Katy's insignificant presence. And don't attempt at convincing me otherwise. Katy makes BAD MUSIC people. She's one of the main sad examples of why people hate on pop music.
I wasn't referring to you when I replied to Leo with the lines that you quoted from me.

You respect a artist who lip syncs and not Katy, who sing live 100%?

A ****ing Mess
I respect Britney's undeniable impact in the pop world during the 2000s. I am the first one making fun of her outrageous (no pun) lip syncing. But she or her producers or whoever just put good stuff under her name. Blackout is widely considered, including by me, as one of the best pop albums of the past 20 years, for example. In the Zone, especially Toxic, is a good example of why she's garnered my respect.
And let's not go into the lip syncing comparisons... I'd rather Katy sing with some sort of autotune than to murder every single audience every single time she tries to reach those notes in Firework which she seems dumb enough to not have realized she just cannot sing.
And Katy's chance at releasing any pop record that will be remembered for the ages like Toxic, Crazy in Love or Bad Romance are long gone. She just doesn't have it in her. Please don't tell me California Gurls will be remembered as anything but one of the many dreadful Max Martin productions.

A mess, GaGa stans trying to come for Katy. Same old, same old.
Katy doesn't threaten me. The ones I feel threatened about I respect them. I just want to put you ***** katys or whatever you call yourselves in place. Don't call her the queen, you lose any kind of credibility from then on.

You think her music is bad doesn't mean it's bad. Millions of ppl who brought her songs and the Grammy disagree with you. Otherwise, she would have flopped.

Well...California Gurls is number one on the United World Chart for 2010.
Just Like PF was before it.
Soooooo....I am pretty sure it will be remembered to some extent. Prolly not CIL style though.

Again, if you don't like her, just leave.
HOLD IT! Are you equating commercial success with quality?

Did you see my message at the top of this page?
Don't worry about it. I'm just an advocate for quality music and quality artistry. That's why I'd rather get banned but at least shake things up for people who support mediocrity.
