It's funny though, BoA sold 60k in Japan but that's considered a flop but she sold 60k in Korea with
'Hurricane Venus' and it's the highest selling album for a solo artist in 2010 and like 4th overall.
Just goes to show you that you can make the same or more money with a flop album in Japan than a hit one in Korea.
You can't really blame BoA for neglecting Korea for five years

Yes!
I laugh at people saying some J-Pop artist should go over to Korea. For what? Their worst selling song/album will still sale more and make them more money than their best selling song/album in Korea.
If some artist do go over to Korea it should be some rock artist and maybe some R&B singers.Seriously in Korean music only like 2 genres of music are popular. That's why people are leaving K-Pop.It's enough that it's saturated with idol groups.
Oh God....I need to stop making it seem like Korean pop is terrible.Lets be real here tho people are going to grow out of that bubble gum pop stuff.I'm pretty sure the fangirls and fanboys from that 90s have moved on with their music.I just can't picture no 30+ year old singing Gee or Tell Me.
