I have no luck with cologne. I've tried lacoste, Paris hiltons, usher, diddy, hollister, American eagle, etc. I've wasted $300 worth of cologne. Sad ain't it?
I thought you just said you like cologne ?
Anyway, Usher's cologne smells like a hard working man so I will never ever use it but this hot guy used to wear it and I would melt like butter.
The thing is... she's one of those people who just doesn't stick to "one" sound. She's like Madonna. Only Madonna made it work. Every album Madonna made between 1986 and 1998 seemed to impress more than the last, and they were all completely different; I personally love Music, American Life and COADF but I don't consider them to be part of her catalog of classics.
I can't really pinpoint where Christina goes wrong. She just doesn't feel authentic. All the ingredients are right but it's forced. And the subject matter of her last three albums has been totally stagnant. All she talks about is how strong "women" are, and she uses subsersive sexuality as feminist tool, which went out of style around 20 years ago.
You just reminded me that I still need to post my blog comparing pop stars to food. It's been saved as a draft for two weeks now.
Let me go tidy it up & undraft it.
