Oh wow, thanks for the info. I didn't know any of that. And I'm surprised they would ban The Black Eyed Peas for that, yet they've never banned Kanye West before, and I feel like he's done far worse to the network than what will.i.am and Fergie did. Not that I think that Kanye should have been banned, it just makes you wonder what's going on over at MTV Networks...

Yeah you're right... I don't know how many tantrums Kanye has to throw for MTV to finally grow a pair and ban him, Oddly, though, this supposed 'ban' was only in effect in U.S. channels, as international MTV Networks channels did show B.E.P. videos from
The E.N.D. (MTV Europe, MTV Latin America, etc.), and the Peas were nominated for MTV awards in many of those regions.
Again, no one really know what caused the ban (if there in fact was one), but something tells me it was more than the commonly-thought reasons I mentioned above. All we know, really, is that
no MTV Networks (U.S.) channel ever added a video from
The E.N.D. to its playlist (which made the Peas ineligible for VMA nominations), so something fishy was happening there...
