Over the course of TF/TFM Gaga promoted a lot.

But I don't think anyone, in any music genre, has ever promoted as much as Katy has since CG dropped. In that relatively short period, she's done 2+ years worth of promo.

Rihanna's is alright, she's done several US shows & just as many or more overseas shows. Which is good, her appeal isn't focused in just one country.

Why is there a negative connotation for a lot of promotion? Promo = good handling by the label & maximum sales. Not having good promotion is a result of poor management.
