Bad Romance not getting a ROTY or SOTY is ridiculous and I agree despite her face being plastered on every T.V., Katy shouldn't have so many nominations.

How is submitting a live version of a song contrived? I mean people want the nods hence why people sometimes submit they're whole album & not to mention you arent even guaranteed a nod no matter who you are (See grammy fav Alicia not getting any nods from TEOF for verification)

As far as Rihanna being contrived for Rated R yes it was very forced and tried to take advantage of the CB incident and didnt work in terms of albums sales, singles sales, tour gross, vmas, & now grammys. You'll find some way to get over it i suppose...

i honestly dont see how it tried to take advantage of the situation but thats ur opinion she didnt even release any of the songs that addressed the situation as singles...

. She can submit whatever she wants to whatever category but a beyonce stan ever using the word contrived

anywho...back to the topic "bad romance" was snubbed rated r was snubbed...i expected it to happen but when albums like my world and teenage dream were nominated is when the shade began...maybe it was released too long ago...and since everyone moved on from that era already that may have not helped her chances either. but rude boy should've been nominated for SOMETHING!

but! im so excited for the best dance recording category

the OP if you were so disappointed with the snubbs thats what the Loud thread is for. We have already forgotten about that. Its not like she wont get something that night. Im sure she will at least 1 out of the 4. Im putting all my faith behind Only Girl and hoping that she get a win for it. What we are doing here wont change what is already set in stone. People get over it.
