I think 100k is definitely a possiblity this week for LOUD. Sales will probably decrease a little more, then have a massive spike the week of and after Christmas.

She could be around 700k, maybe more by January which would be great, especially since they have yet to release S&M or Cheers.

Only 496k for Kanye? Disappointing after the projections, but still higher than all my initial predictions, so I guess I can't be too diaappointed. Still gold week 1.

Both he and Nicki will likely suffer massive drops, though.

Can't wait or the BEP projections. The excitement for this release just isn't there, and the album only has three stars on iTunes (I've never seen a major album with such a low rating). 195-225k is my guess.

A lot of tweens are probably asking for this album for Christmas.

I actually don't find Kanyes sales that good.
With all the huge discounts, and black friday, it should have pushed 600k.
And with all those amazing reviews.
Ehhh I guess that's what happens when your singles flop.

Considering the fact that so many people hated him for the past year, the lack of performances and the non-existent airplay, I'd say this is very impressive. Many thought he had ruined his career and was done.

Well Kanye is here for CD events and those album sales "longevity"

not just huge singles

I RESPECT kanye for going more underground with this album, being "original", not like other mainstream artists =X .. im sure he will drop BIG next week but who cares now. Maybe a future single will see good numbers with airplay and downloads, that will keep the album selling $$

The thing is, I don't think Kanye will have much longevity unless he has a hit. Didn't 808s and Heartbreak have two major hits but only scanned a little over 1.4 million? Kanye has NEVER been that HUGE of a seller. His highest selling album scanned what? 3.5 million? There have been several rappers to surpass that.

yeah i realize that but 1.4 is impressive for two hits..

Look at otherssss sales with 3-4 huge hits and struggle to pass 1 million

with the ratings on side, and hopefully a future hit, this album will sell fine in the future

Considering his public image over the last year (and a myriad of other factors) he would've been lucky to cross 350k. The reviews are actually what brought the album over 400k.

Black Friday is a huge day but it's not magic and doesn't guarantee enormous numbers. I can think of some albums that had the same discounts and didn't break 250k. But I digress...
