What buzz did Ne-Yo have besides performing on the AMAs? His buzz has been non-existent this era.
Not to mention his album leaked about 5 weeks before it's release date. As little buzz as Ciara has, his buzz seemed dramatically less but maybe the AMA' performance might have spiked his sales.

Christina must be so happy to be saved from being the flop of the year. Things are beginning to look up for that gal lately.
But no one expected Kelis to do well, she released just one single, and she doesnt really care enough about charts, not to mention none of her material was commercial, plus she was leaving her long-term fan base behind and taking a whole new approach, plus the thing with NAS.
