I'd only agree that it shouldn't be a lead single from a studio album, but then if it were I wouldn't be like ZOMG TERRIBLE. It & "Gimme More" are my most played singles since she came back.
Also Louie, Max did the masterpiece "Amy" alone, which contradicts you saying he'd disappoint.

It was a disappointment for me and many other fans.
Amy was amazing. Which is why when 3 came out it was a disappointment. No contradiction there buddy.

p.s. NRJ 2004 held Toxic's best performance ever. Non Relevawhat?

But '3' is so epic bb. The lyrics of that song are hilarious. ....and I love how autotuned it was. It's kinda like how I feel about Rihanna's 'Who's That Chick' - while I typically dislike autotune...it '3's' case, it kinda adds some umph.
Twister on the floor, what do you say??

Britney Spears is a special honoree at the 38th Annual American Music Awards. When the event is held, the singer will be handed with International Artist Award which is presented only to artists who have gone beyond the borders of their own country to be acknowledged for their superstar status around the globe. What makes the award special is that it has only been presented eight times in the 37-year history of the AMAs. Previous recipients of the prize included Michael Jackson, Rod Stewart, Led Zeppelin, Bee Gees, Aerosmith, Madonna, Whitney Huston and Beyonce Knowles.
is this true?

People don't like 3?
It's sassy, sexy and funny. The autotune was needed, we know Brit can sing, regardless of what others say, that songs production was

Exactly. It's a hilarious stupid song. Having it as a first single on a studio album is like preferring Mmm Papi over Womanizer.

But it was essentially from a greatest hits album, it wasn't opening up a new era.

Yeahhh exactly. 3 was great for the Greatest Hits....and 3 did go #1 on the BB Hot 100. I wouldn't want it to kick off a new era - but it was successful so I wouldn't be too mad.

It wasn't a first single from a studio album, get over it.

One of the best pop songs of all time for me. Her sexy voice + dirty lyrics + great production = perfection.
I loved it cause it's so fresh and sounds like nothing on the radio. A Britney classic.

Nope. Even my friends who generally hate Britney loved "3".
And "3" is better than "Amy" which ***** too.

I actually liked Auto-Tune as well, it fits the song and they didn't overuse it like some other artists. The lyrics are catchy as hell and so raunchy:
Merrier the more, triple fun that way
Are – you in, livin’ in sin is the new thing
What we do is innocent, just for fun and nothin’ meant
If you don’t like the company, let’s just do it you and me
And it's so educational, she's learning the kids how to count.

I love the melody too, especially when it's goes hard during the second and final choruses. It's one of those songs you either love or hate IMO.
