Im praying for that 200k.
Do you think she'll pull it off?
I have this horrible feeling she's gonna pull 199k.

I'd say now the bets are good, if she's gone up to 195k. Weekend's still to come.

Remember: huge first week sales don't usually equal a huge success. Like Britney's last 2 debuts were big numbers but each only went platinum (no shade, i love Britney). Rihanna will do fine!

I kind of consider Britney in Ke$ha, Katy, Rihanna's category these days. Her last two albums sold about as well as Rated R and One of the Boys did and didn't really sell any more singles than either of those albums.
But then again, Britney doesn't have anything to prove anymore considering she has two diamond albums and two multi-platinum albums under her belt.

Circus lacked longevity. After February it had already sold north of 1.5 million copies, now almost 1.7 million. Releasing "Amy" without any promo, then "Radar" of all songs completely killed it. I hope this new album coming in the first quarter means they'll push promo/marketing throughout the year and she sells beyond the first 12-16 weeks.

Rihanna could have done a few more promo:
Ellen on Thursday
Jimmy Kimmel Wednesday
Wendy Williams Friday
that maybe could have give her a little boost like an extra 10k on the sales prediction.

That's not shipments, it has sold 998,000 copies. Obviously it's over 1 million now.

But Britney's Circus sold almost 1,7 million with half of the airplay of Katy, Ke$ha & Rihanna.
In the other side Ke$ha & Rihanna sold 1 million and Katy Perry sold 1,2 million with huge promotion and airplay.

OOTB and Circus both had two massive hits (#1 and #3 peaks), one modest hit, and one flop. I don't understand how you can equate that to "half of the airplay."
I was talking about worldwide anyways. P!nk, Bey, and Taylor have consistently scored 6-7 million-selling albums in the last five years. Katy, Ke$ha, Rihanna, and nowadays Britney seem to stall out around 3 million.

You cannot put Ke$ha there considering the fact she officially debuted in 2009 and only had one album.

True. But out of the four I mentioned, her sales are the worst and at the rate she's going I don't see her worldwide album sales exploding any time soon.

You can't compare Britney with Katy & Ke$ha. Or compare debut albums with Britney's 5th.
Also you can't compare Katy's debut album with Rihanna's Rated R.

Now please compare Britney's Circus or Blackout album promo with Bey's, Pink's or Taylor's.
Britney has done few performances in the first week, only 1 in US, while the other girls had performed on every award show, VMA's,AMA's, Grammy's,talk shows...and promoted every single.
