Ch... you know it started getting melodramatic. I wonder if they will make Derwin not the father of Janae's baby. A lot of people hope that happens, but I do not want rewrites. Keep him the father. The whole baby thing will bring angst to Mel and Derwin's marriage.

What they should've done was have Janae die while giving birth. I don't want her to die but it would have brought a huge level of drama to the show. Derwin being bitter because she didn't get to experience the life of her child and Melanie would be stressed from having to deal with a baby that wasn't hers and Derwin made it vocal that the baby wasn't hers each time a argument happened. Then she leaves him and gets with Malik who matured over the course of the 4th season. Ch...
