The fact is, mainly adults buy CDs, Lady Gaga and taylor swift broke through the adult audience and were able to sell a lot. artists like kesha and rihanna will sell a lot digitally but adults won't buy their cds and many young fans will just download illegally.
RiRi needs to break through the HAC like Pink and katy perry are trying to do, that's the only way to sell millions nowadays.
