Honey, if Rihanna wants to sell, she will have to sing some sleepy AC/MOR ballads and ditch the Pop/Rhythmic tracks.

I don't think she'll get much of a boost. Rated R didn't hold up well at all last year, out of the Top 20 in a couple weeks after debut. I know the circumstances are different with her having big hits now, but considering the debut I don't know if I can trust that they'll hold her from dropping off.
Plus like you said, the competition is huge. Ke$ha will own digitally, Susan/Taylor will continue, won't be shocked if Josh moves up. Nicki, Kanye as well. BIEBER is releasing on Black Friday, at Walmart (huge deals). So he might pull some wigs in just 3 days.

Wow at all the beyonce fans loving the Navy's dissapointment.
How accurate are these predictions, everyone is acting like Rihanna has actually sold 180. You never know, she could go past the 200K mark. Obv she is not going to sell over 240K but dont lose faith Navy (and rihanna fans) and Queen can still do it (sell over 200K ). Her #1 will come soon.

I'm pretty sure Rihanna will lift those sales to 200k but not above the 210k, just like I predicted.
No one is really surprised at those sales after all.
P!nk is doing really great with the GH album, esp' considering she's not a huge one week number artist.
Nelly is selling okay, wish he would have done more.
SuBo!

She could do more, but she's not going to do 250k. They predicted Katy would do 175-200k on Wednesday, then they said 200k, and when the finals came in she did 192k, which was on the upper hand of their original prediction.

Why does Rihanna struggle to sell albums in the US? 180k is pathetic, she's had 8 #1s... I don't get it.
Loud is flying off the shelves in the UK. It's going to sell over 100k here and our population is 1/5 of the US population.

Riri's #'s aren't bad, she's a single artist after all.
Susy might just have the biggest album of the year again, and WW too.

i have a feeling that RIRI will surpass the 200K mark, but it wont pass 220k!!! GOSH, RIRI needs to pull a SUBO and pull 50k more than da prediction! i think she can do it because she was on Letterman last nite, and good morning america today! Plus, the Weeken sales will definately help

Yeah, they mentioned 9 titles would sell 100k+ but only listed 8 of them (inc. Taylor).
Glee will be below Kid Rock though:
