Why am I falling for "Yeah 3X?" It's just like every other DJ Got Us Falling in Love/Tik Tok/California Gurls/Who's That Chick out there, but it seems so perfect to me.

Plus, I think there's something in these generic songs that you hate at first listen but eventually it grows and takes over. I personally ****ing hated (not disliked hated) DJ Got Us Falling in Love but then I heard it when I was bored and fell in love with it (pun).

Rihanna: Loud
(Mercury)
Rihanna is very much a poor man’s Beyoncé. Weaker voice, much less charisma and pretty where Beyoncé is beautiful.
That’s why you end up with an album of songs that don’t quite cut it, often with an OK voice but one that’s been through so many machines it sounds like you’re being sung to by the Sainsbury’s lady who announces “unknown item in bagging area”. Sometimes sounding a bit like Cher’s Believe, so not exactly cutting edge, some of the lyrics such as the “whips and chains excite me” bit of S&M smack of desperation.SG

That's generally true (the growing on you part). Although I hated DJ when I first heard it and I still hate it. It's so CHEAP. At least Yeah 3X feels right on Chris; Usher's makes him seem like a desperate sell-out.

I know.
I find OMG more generic if possible than DJGUFIL. Exactly, it's not even a natural pop song like Yeah it's just pure rinse and repeat trash. The only reason it grew on me other than sheer boredom is.... I really don't know.
While, Chris's song is natural since most if not all of his music had pop elements. Usher just wanted another hit.
