OG, I believe , will have a shot to peak higher in its debut week or the week of the American Music Awards when she opens (Sunday) She will be between 110-120 M AI by then , maybe more because Rihanna has been surprising all of us.
That's why we cant predict. I remember reading from someone that Rihanna can not sell more than 150k with WMN because it's too urban. At the rate she's going , she can probably sell 300k+.
I said it before and Ill say it again, WMN is a huge cross over smash.....People in the states CAN NOT get enough of this song.
I made a statement on the thread that we will be getting what happened to Beyonce. If I were a boy peaked at #3 and her urban cross over single , Single Ladies went #1 ....However I hope Rihanna peaks higher than 3 ....
OG is slaying worldwide and her sales are stable. Will be #1 in the world this week. Thats what matters.
Sales last week were rather poor besides for WRWWR. It's pretty clear to me the iTunes meltdown affected sales slightly.
So, even though OG had its lowest sales-week to date last week, that doesn't really mean anything. It's stable.
Sales were weak last week as well (or week before). "Dynamite" sold 90k at #10 on the Digital chart. Hardly effect, songs were still moving based on some updates we got.
