Yes.

I think you're too generous with hit rating and album sales. P!nk has been surviving on the success of one or two "genuine hits" per era for the last 5-7 years. She'll have her filler singles that come inbetween the So Whats and they'll chart decently, but nobody really remembers them, and some of her singles perform downright terribly. Yes, her album sales are impressive given the fact that nobody in the US is here for her (globally it's a different story, I suppose), but they're not exactly mind-boggling impressive either.

Even a C press rating might be a little too generous.

And a longevity rating? That's sort of like penalizing the other girls for not being in the game as long as Pink.

Kelly was the first (and only) Idol to really break the international market. Now, her name is almost as good as dust overseas.

He is, though he would only include Ke$ha if the list is intended to capture pop music as it stands "right now".

Rihanna can't sell an album, she can't tour to save her ass, but she has a repertoire of hits that very few can rival and she generates more publicity and has more of a cultural presence than 72% of the girls in the game.

I'm basing it off the average. Britney is above and beyond in that regard of course. But out of the other girls (Akeys, Xtina, P!nk, etc) I would consider +30M an A+. She has done +30M, right? Rihanna is half of that. By grading scale standards she should be F since 15M is half, but album sales keep declining so... yea.

And selling a $10 album will always top a $1 hit single. Hit singles can be forgettable and people might remember the song but it doesn't necessarily mean they remember the person who sung (sang?) it. Selling an album requires a more "intimate" knowlegde of the artist. Rihanna had back to back to back hit singles for the GGGB era and did about 7.5M while P!nk had So What this era and a couple of moderate hits and is nearing 7M if she isn't already there. Are you going to tell me that Rih did more impressively?
