There's nothing wrong with Ke$ha and Katy's albums, if Britney had the Teenage Dream era, she would've NAILED it.

Some generic **** to sit on the Hot 100 top and sell 4 million copies before the sales high season
California Gurls is amazing, IMO...

Why would you want Britney to get a generic hit? That's just desperate and would be a complete turn-off. I'd honestly feel disconnected. I'd rather have music that is Britney and flop on the charts. But, that's exactly why I'm not as worried as everyone about Luke & Max working extensively with her, they know better. "Circus", "Amy", "Lace & Leather" prove this. Britney can get a 4-million selling single without selling out to the generic dance-craze, if "Womanizer" can do 3 million and "Circus" right behind it. Even if, the fact she's selling these numbers at such a veteran level is impressive enough.
Anyways, totally amped about the possibility for release prior to 3/31/10. If they're trying to pull in some cash, they will work this album. Here is the "3" remix by Billboard Luke mentioned. It has a hip-hop/electro feel to it.

Not bad. Could definitely see him doing some fantastic **** on an original track. Britney bringing yet another producer into the Mainstream light.

I know!! That just goes to show us that this era really HAS to be huge for Sony/Jive - and that Sony/Jive will ensure that everything goes flawlessly for Britney so it can be big for them.
So much is building for Britney and we really cannot deny the upcoming signs that Britney has for promotion.
I know some are against it, but a revealing hour long interview with Britney Spears and Oprah would be amazing especially since she's in her final season....and not even an interview in front of a studio audience, but an interview on a set without an audience like Whitney's interview.
Sony will also be releasing a Playstation Phone sometime next year so I'm sure Sony could incorporate some major Britney promotion into that somehow.
.....and if the new album does come out before March, then we'll definitely be hearing new music before the end of this year.
There are just alot of opportunities out there, hopefully everything works out.
.....wait, doesn't GaGa's 'Born this Way' come out in March too?

I thought about this watching For The Record the other day, and I still think it wouldn't be a great idea. The documentary was meant to end all of that. I'd really hate to see Britney crying, re-hashing the bad times all over again. More importantly for all of that to be in the media again, saying she's "using" her troubled times for exposure. Essentially I think this is why we didn't get a lot of promo, so people wouldn't ask about her court issues, recent troubles.
I want the new era to be completely disconnected from what happened 3-4 years ago. We dealt with 2 albums that were essentially shadowed with her personal issues. New album should celebrate the positivity of her life now.
If she does Oprah promotion, I'd like for it to be a positive interview, talking about the music, the boys, etc. with a performance a la during the Britney era.

Exactly!!! So many people in the mainstream still think this is 2006 when it comes to Britney.
It just baffles me how people forget that she had 2 #1's on the Hot 100 last era, she is a great mother of two kids, K-Fed and her have a professional relationship as parents - and she's completely looking good again.
A big interview like Oprah isn't what she needs because regardless, she's amazing and will find success - but it would be good for her to talk about her positives when there are so many negatives out there about her.

I know right. ...it will be pretty crazy if both CDs launch over the same month.

I'm praying for a single in December, butttt I'm thinking January, buttttt I'm hoping December. I mean BEFORE March 31st. No way JIVE won't break their usual set-up, 1st single 2-3 months ahead. It's total hype factor.

 Exactly.
...and every label has learned from Capitol and Katy Perry - the gap between CG and the release of her CD was farrrrr too long in-between. Whether we get the single in Dec. or Jan, I'm sure March will still remain the target month for Britney.

Britney's team has been doing that method for a while now, but it works for her since she's such a huge name + quality singles. I don't know what Katy's team thought. She didn't sell many records with her debut, and "CG" is just another generic non-album selling hit.
I really DON'T know what to expect. Each first single is totally mind-blowing.

First single to hit radio on January 12th (the 12th anniversary of "...Baby") and the album release scheduled for March 27th (the 11th anniversary of "Oops!").
Single to get an iTunes release worldwide on February 1st.

I've actually had an idea that it will coincide with one of them, ever since Britney tweeted that the date was a "surprise"..though the 27th is a Sunday.

Next year all the anniversary dates are dumb dates for a release:
January
12th ...Baby (album) (WEDNESDAY)
15th Toxic (SATURDAY)
21st Overprotected (Remix) (FRIDAY)
February
14th Do Somethin' (MONDAY)
March
5th Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know (SUNDAY)
10th If U Seek Amy (THURSDAY)
15th Break The Ice (TUESDAY)
27th Oops! (single) (SUNDAY)
Whatcha think?

Radio premiere January 12th, iTunes release February 14th (FULL WEEK ), album March 15th (a stretch, but )
Only "...Baby" makes sense to the tweet, but that's not the album date.
