After waiting outside Gaga’s hotel from 10am till 4pm, some football hooligans came over and started chanting ‘LADY GAGA’ really aggressively and drunk etc. So she had no option but to sneak out the garage entrance, yes ENTRANCE. Believe me, we all tried so hard to get a glimpse but no-one saw her until her car was half way down the road.
After this, many rumours went around saying she was at a different hotel, vogue headquarters, showstudio etc. We tried our luck and travelled to showstudio but still NOTHING.
We headed back to the hotel for a while and spoke to a few lovely fans who all felt really dissapointed. After this, we travelled to meet some friends who went to a Robyn gig and out of the blue we saw Gaga’s cars outside a tiny pub!
We looked in the pub window to see none other than Lady Gaga sitting at the bar looking all cute. She turned to the window and saw her fans and immediately blew us all kisses, monster paws, etc. Then her security team came out and shut the curtains of the pub and whatnot. After waiting for her to finish the interview she was having, we were all outside (7 of us) getting so hyped up and then Billy and Nichola Formichetti came outside to keep us company and was chatting away with them for a good half an hour, they were such nice guys!
THEN, Gaga’s security team opened her car door and held us back a little. She started exiting the pub and straight away opened her arms and came towards us for a massive group hug! Some of us had individual photos taken and got stuff signed. After my photo with her I asked for a kiss and she gave me one on the cheek! Then the paparazzi was like ‘Gaga, can I just take some photos of you and your fans?’ and Gaga said ‘Oooh, I like you!’ then being me, I held her round the waist and I kept feeling her security man pulling my hand off but I kept putting it back (owp), she didn’t seem to mind! We were all posing with her for a while then she literally got dragged back to her car.I don’t know if it was because she had been drinking in the pub or what, but even after watching lots of videos of fans meeting her, she just seemed to be so much more confident around us than usual. She was making jokes, smiling and being just a lovely, down-to-earth person! It’s all a bit of a blur tbh, I said some ridiculous things too haha for example: ‘I LOVE YOUR WIG!’ ‘CAN YOU SING US A SNIPPET OF BORN THIS WAY PLEASE?!’ (To which she answered all cute and shy ‘No I cant do that hehehe’) and just general things!
All in all, it is literally the highlight of my life and I’m thankful I have such good photos from the experience that I can keep forever!.
