But, I don't know everything about Muslim culture so me having an opposing opinion is null and void/lacks info.
And, it isn't interesting it's more so something that can lead to heated debate (nothing is quiet or polite).
Also, you shouldn't complain about .gifs or lame jokes when you do the latter the most.

And Geert Wilders (a man who has a hate against the Islam) who is one of the three rules of our country wants to make a law where those ''kerchiefs'' are forbidden.
Do you get it now?

The same thing is happening in France too. Sarkozy(president) seems to hate muslim too.
As far as I'm concerned It's not black, it's not white. I don't think prohibition is the right tactic, because muslim will just feel oppressed and feel like their rights are not respected.
In other hand I'd rather they don't wear it, it's downgrading for women in my opinion, and makes it seems like muslim men can't control themselves. But then again, I believe in freedom, and if some women really CHOOSE to wear it then be it.
The choice here is the keyword, because some might tell you that they choose it, but it's false, they feel contrived by their family , the environment is also a big factor.

I get what you're saying, but in my class there are two girls whom are muslim and wear that headthingy too. I asked them if they were forced to wear them, and they said no, absolutely not. They like wearing it, because it's warm and gives them a comfortable feeling. Although, I find it weird why muslim women have to cover their heads and men not? I think Muslim women can wear it as long as they are not forced to do it.

Sis, you are the one who adds a .gif at the end of every post, I'm not. If I'm talking serious, I never add .gifs.

Now that is sad. That just sounds like ********. And even if it's true it's even worse. Because its purpose is not to be warm, it's to prevent the women from the men's fantasies and envies. That's what I was implying by "the environment", they saw their moms do it, their aunts, grandmoms, so they do it too. I don't think young girls should wear it because they have no idea of the symbolism behind it. Parents should wait for them to be mature enough to make a choice that is them and only them. If you want to be cold, buy a wrap like everybody, don't put a religious symbol on your head without knowing what it represents.
Now when a woman fully conscious of the symbolism wears it, because she feels more protected by that, then it's okay.

Latter of it means lame jokes also I don't post .gifs with every single post.
I only post them when I'm not having a serious discussion which I was not having. Also, I find it ironic that the person who used to spam .gifs in SYG without posting a single word or sentence with them is saying something. Hmmm.

I get what you're saying, but what if they want it? Why do other people interfere with other cultures? It's disrespectful and asocial. It's not like it's their business anyway.
I don't think hair start men having fantasies about women.

It's ridiculous that people are even proposing the idea. Obviously it is a part of their tradition/religion.

Oh ok, and he shouldn't make them forbidden. That would be wrong and thats stripping people of their customs/traditions etc...
